Every culture has stories to tell. These stories form the basis for how we think about the world and ourselves. Cultural knowledge is passed down through stories, encouraging the listeners to imagine and participate across space and time. In this video, we will look at innovative ways to explore local histories and use artistic medium in telling the stories of Chinatown. This video features Catherine Clement, award-winning community curator and exhibition designer, as well as Terry Hunter and Savannah Walling, co-founders of Vancouver Moving Theatre. What is revealed about our past and our identities through these stories? What new things have we discovered and learned? What stories are yet to be told?
